Community Kitchens are common throughout the world and recognize the need to provide nutritious meals in their community through large-group volunteer efforts. Langar is not only a selfless service to feed everyone, but it is a golden opportunity to learn a lifelong skill that intersects with our lives multiple times a day!ย Training each other the culinary arts is a right of passage, anyone worth learning from has good taste, therefore it is important to develop a pallet by learning how to cook for diverse and nutritious food to aid you in your educational journey.

Curriculum: "The Art of Embodied Ecology"
- Foundation Course: Principles of human ecology, nutrition, regenerative agriculture, and the connection between personal health and planetary health.
- Role Specialization: Training for each of the 6 roles:
Community Health Ecologist,Lifecycle Educator,Green Exercise Facilitator,Hygiene Systems Designer,Wild Food & Medicine Guide, andAgroecologist. - Advanced Metabolic Systems: Managing complex water-energy-food nexus systems, mycoremediation, and advanced human nutrient cycling.
- Somatic & Ecological Literacy: Deepening the felt sense of connection between the human body and the body of the Earth.

- "From Soil to Society" Practicum: A hands-on rotation through all aspects of the community's metabolic systemโworking on the farm, in the kitchen, and with the hygiene systems.
- Wild Food Forays: Guided expeditions to learn identification, ethical harvesting, and preparation of wild foods and medicines.
- Death & Birth Doula Labs: Practical, compassionate training in supporting the two great physical transitions of life.
