🤌 Module Taxonomy

🧠 Remember

Students will recall key intervention frameworks such as Mental Health Literacy (MHL), research models like Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), and essential components of the capstone project (e.g., needs assessment, evaluation plan). They will also remember terms like speculative futuring, culturally congruent methods, and sustainability planning.

📜 Comprehension

Learners will explain how to translate theoretical knowledge into practical interventions, articulate the principles of community-engaged research, and describe the process of designing and evaluating a community-based program or campaign for South Asian men.

⚙️ Apply

Students will apply course concepts to design mental health interventions, use CBPR principles to plan ethical research, and implement strategic planning tools to create detailed implementation, evaluation, and sustainability plans for their capstone projects.

🔮 Analysis

Learners will analyze the effectiveness and cultural appropriateness of proposed interventions, deconstruct power dynamics in community research, and evaluate how different components of the capstone (theory, design, implementation) integrate to address complex, real-world issues.

🕊️ Evaluation

Students will assess the feasibility and ethical soundness of intervention designs, critique research proposals for community benefit and engagement, and judge the potential impact and sustainability of their capstone projects within specific South Asian male communities.

🔩 Create

Learners will synthesize all course knowledge to design an original community intervention or research proposal (capstone project), create speculative visions of liberatory futures, and produce detailed plans for implementation, partnership, evaluation, and long-term impact.
