In a capitalist framework, a Job is a box you fit into to sell your labor for a wage. It often comes with hierarchy, alienation, and a primary goal of generating profit for someone else.

In our Symbiotic Commonwealth, a Role is a dynamic, socially necessary function you perform for your community and your own fulfillment. It is:

A Calling: An expression of your unique gifts and passions.
A Contribution: A direct service to the well-being of your people and planet.
A Connection: A way to build deep, collaborative relationships with others.

You won't find "Marketing Manager" or "Growth Hacker" here. Instead, you'll find roles like Place-Making Storyteller, Soil Life Tender, and Restorative Circle Keeper. These aren't fancy titles; they are descriptions of the actual work of care, creation, and stewardship that sustains a thriving society.
