CivicNotes

Course Syllabus

Ravi Bajnath
This was an original app I designed while living in NYC, being unable to go to a public meeting, the idea of participating from home directly proliferated into an entire social platform for direct local governance. Letโ€™s remake it in Figma!

How do you want to be represented?ย Participation in local politics is difficult to accomplish with the way our current technology disables us from being more involved in improving community life. We primarily do not have time to interact with institutions that actively shape our lives and if we need to, the current technology is not suitable for current and upcoming generations. CivicNotes aims to provide civic education by designing a social platform for civic engagement. Learn how to engage in organizing, petitioning, and providing civic commentary to engage in local issues. Learn how to design an app and gain political knowledge on how to make a difference in your community.
